Work and Achievements
- Has employed his skills as a Medical Physicist at a number of institutions, including the Ottawa Valley Regional Hospital, Shaw Regional Cancer Center, MDX Medical Inc., and the BC Cancer Agency.
- Developed Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), a growing standard for cancer treatment.
- VMAT is a technology residing in Varian’s RapidArc, a leading technology providing fast and user-friendly image-guided Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) treatments.
- Harold Johns Award, Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine (2003).
