BCIC in cooperation with the Science Fair Foundation of British Columbia provides awards to students who enter projects in regional science fairs, with preference for those selected to represent British Columbia at the Canada Wide Science Fair. Projects must present science and technology innovation with the potential to benefit British Columbia.
Students who win the awards also attend a three-day Innovation Exploration event in Vancouver that includes an invitation to the annual British Columbia Innovation Council Awards Dinner. BCIC also honours the teacher of the student with an award.
